We had a great Nielsen family reunion at the Hidden Springs Lodge in Altamont, Utah (pop. 178 as of 2000 census). There were 104 people present (out of 160 possible) and we had a great time eating, playing, swimming, hiking, canoeing, biking, rock-climbing and just visiting with each other. Ross turned 89 on August 12 and Evan had created a huge timeline documenting all the highlights of the admirable lives of two very exemplary individuals, Ross and Louise Nielsen, his parents.
