Sweet ideas?

We are having "Do Nothing" at the Kindles on Sat. and I have to bring a dessert. Any great ideas?
Evan is thinking light and summery like Key Lime Cheesecake Pie (I"ve never made that!), but I'm thinking chocolate or trifle. Any new ideas? Thanks!

(this is sarah) chris and i voted: not trifle. it's too soggy. that cheesecake pie sounds good, though! or maybe lemonade ice cream pie.

You should make rainbow sugar cookies! They're the best! Or you could make that icecream log of cake with the icecream in the middle that Aunt Nedra used to make.

I like the idea of pink lemonade pie. I just made some. I took some softened vanilla ice cream and then I took some pink lemonade powder. And I put them in the kitchen aid together and mixed. Then I put it in a graham cracker crust and then I put it in the freezer. Before I froze it it tasted powdery but after I froze it the powder went away. This is just an idea. It is really yummy.

katie, next time try adding come cool whip to your ice cream mixture. that makes it really easy to cut after it has been frozen. and even though it probably isn't as sugar free as your powder, i use lemonade concentrate and lemon juice. next time i think i'll try it your way.
